It has also issues a moderate flood warning for Moruya and minor warning for Island Point. Northern NSW and southeast Queensland has copped a drenching on Saturday, with more wild weather to come in the first major La Nina event of the summer. About 200mm of rain fell in the Bowraville and Coffs Harbour regions of the NSW North Coast by 2pm on Saturday, and the Bureau of Meteorology has warned the wet weather is only beginning.

A flood warning for Kempsey and Smithtown has been released with minor flooding expected at Bellbrook as the Macleay River bursts its banks.
More heavy rain is expected across the north coast of New South Wales tonight says the Bureau of Meteorology.
Rainfall rates are expected to ease early tomorrow as the trough weakens and heads south.
There are almost a dozen flood warnings for rivers across the north coast of NSW.

RENEWED FLOODING NOT EXPECTED FOR MID NORTH COAST AND NORTHERN RIVERS
Heavy rainfall has eased over the Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast.
Flood warnings are current for Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast catchments. However renewed flooding is no longer expected.
The Bureau is continuing to monitor the situation and will issue further catchment specific warnings if and when required.
Flooding is no longer expected in the following catchments:

Manning and Gloucester Rivers
Clarence River
Macleay River
Hastings River

Flood Warnings will be issued if Minor Flood Level is expected to be exceeded at key sites along the main rivers for which the Bureau of Meteorology provides a flood warning service.
Severe Weather Warnings will be issued or updated if very heavy rain is forecast or observed.
